This is the Northshore - where we live. You are looking at the ocean from the area of Ho'okipa, our nearest beach. The second pictures is looking at "Jaws" where they hold the surfing contests on the island because it gets the biggest waves in the winter.
This is from the beach next to the B & B we first stayed at about 3 years ago, it is in Paia.
This is Ho'okipa. Tourists love to get into the dangerous areas of the area, down by the rocks. Most peope like to view the ocean from up on top - we do.
